Liverpool is where it all began, and let’s be honest—nobody does a night out like us. But if it’s your first time at Content, you might be feeling a mix of excitement and "what on earth have I signed up for?"
Don't panic. Here is everything you need to know to survive and thrive at the original Bongo’s Bingo.
The Venue: Welcome to Content
We’ve moved on from the days of the old Camp and Furnace. Our home in the Baltic Triangle, Content, was literally built for this. It’s state-of-the-art, has massive screens so you won't miss a single number, and enough space for a serious amount of confetti.
- Pro Tip: It’s right in the heart of the Baltic Triangle (Cains Brewery Village), so there are plenty of spots nearby for a pre-show bevvy.
It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint
A Bongo’s night is a full-on production. We’ve got rave intervals, dance-offs, and plenty of "false call" banter.
- The Golden Rule: If you call "Bingo" and you’re wrong, be prepared for a very loud, very Scouse welcome from the entire room. You have been warned.
What to Wear?
There’s no "black tie" here, love. Whether you’re coming in full fancy dress (highly encouraged) or your "nice top and jeans," wear something you can move in. You will be up and down all night. You will be doing the Macarena. Leave the stilettos at home unless you have the balance of an Olympic gymnast.
Eyes Down, Ears Open
Yes, we actually play bingo. You’ll get your book and pen on entry. Keep your eyes on the numbers, but keep your ears open for the special songs. When certain numbers are called, the music drops, and the room transforms into a warehouse rave.
The Logistics: Need to Know
- Entry: Get there early! Doors usually open an hour or two before the first game. You want to bag the best table for your squad.
- Prizes: We’re talking anything from a mobility scooter to a bottle of Lambrini or £1,000 in cash.
- Tickets: Our Liverpool shows are basically a permanent sell-out. If you see a date, grab it.
